Tandem Team GodfreyElaine and I love to ride our Cannondale RT1000 road tandem. We've done some long rides in a number of states since purchasing the bike in late 2005. I've placed some pictures and details from a few of our rides below.
The photo on the left is from after this 104-mile ride. As the name of the ride might suggest, it was very hot. The high temperature in Wichita Falls that day was 104°F!
This beautiful 100-k ride had some big hills.
One of the few photographs of us actually on the bike (photo by B. Godfrey) in Moore, OK. Both Elaine and my Dad actually rode singles for the 20-mile trip and my Mom was the stoker for the tandem, but she and Elaine traded places for the picture.
We took the medium-length option on this ride because we moved to Asheville four days later!
We brought the tandem to Ohio and went for a pleasant ride on the Loveland Bike Trail.
This is a beautiful 55-mile ride through Oklahoma City, Moore, and Norman.
This 65-mile trip was our first fully-supported ride on the tandem.
Every Tuesday and Thursday in Oklahoma, we rode with the Bicycle League of Norman. They are a great group to ride with! |
