Question #2(a) ----------- I was wondering if there is a way to plot GRVT directly in Garp? Question #2(b) ----------- Or even just GRV? Question #2(c) ----------- I’m sorry to be bombarding you with questions but I want to ask them while I still have time. I am struggling to graph LAD on garp with the equation you gave us. I am trying to do it for the project 9 case study and even typing in exactly what you have written shows nothing at all on the map. Is that equation specific to the case study for the final project? Answer to #2(a) and 2(b) ------------ If you search for "Time, level, and vertical coordinate as specified through the user" in the GARP "bible", you could compute a finite difference version of GRVT using the GRV fields at the two different forecast times. GRV was plotted in GARP in Problem (1) of Project #9. Answer to #2(c) ------------ The function for plotting LAD via GARP for the final project is different than the function for plotting LAS via Project #9 as the source of the two input files is different. The function for Project #9 was sm9s(sm9s( LAP(OMEG@700%PRES))) -------- ---> There is no limit to the number of questions asked on the final project...the only limit is that you have until 4:00 pm EST on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 to ask questions.
