Dewpoint Temperature

The dewpoint temperature is calculated at the surface by first using the specific humidity at the surface to determine the mixing ratio, using the pressure and mixing ratio to calculate the vapor pressure, using the temperature to calculate the latent heat of vaporization, and finally by using these values in the Clausius-Clapeyron equation to calculate the dewpoint temperature.
