Continuous hourly meteorological data are available for a period of 35 years at each of the locations indicated on the map below. Click on a marker to see the station ID (WBAN number) associated with that station and information on the completeness of the original set of observations. Data at locations marked in red are solely derived from North American Regional Reanalysis (NARR) data and represent model output with no direct observations. Data at locations marked in yellow consist of actual observations, with temporal gaps filled in via variable-specific algorithms. See the final report for details. Locations marked with a star represent stations included in the original set of HCD files accompanying the ME Design software. The actual observations should be considered more reliable than the NARR data, so pavement design locations that are relatively close to a yellow marker should use the observed data. |
