"/ldm-home/data/gempak/*" should appear in "Filter" window (no quotes) choose "/ldm-home/data/data/model" in "Directories" window and press "Filter" button choose "/ldm-home/data/data/model/gfs" in "Directories" window and press "Filter" button choose your particular model case study and hit "OK" at the bottom of the "file selection pop-up menu" choose the model forecasts of interest in "Model times:" window and choose the location in the "Location:" window [e.g. "35.6;-82.4" no quotes] click "OK" at top of "Model Sounding Selection" window to save an image click on "File" in "SKEWT HODOGRAPH ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH PROGRAM" window --> "Print" --> "Postscript File Only" Note: be sure to save the postscript file to your home ("/home/uncanet.unca.edu/username/") directory where you'll have write permission Use "gimp" application on debris to convert from postscript to jpeg or gif format file ---> sometimes the "nsharp" program runs slowly and you have to wait for the "not allowed" icon to disappear!!!! <--------------
